Presence Film
Soderbergh tests his creative boundaries in this nifty ghostly tale shot entirely from the perspective of the spirit. As a family with Lucy Liu as Rebekah and troubled teenage daughter Chloe occupies their new suburban house, the camera – representing the ghost – shadows their actions. The Tammy Faye Biopic
In the struggle between faith and wealth, the winner is obvious for materialism in this director's delightfully tacky true story of the disgraced televangelist and her criminal husband. Garfield acts as the venal Jim, who declares initially, asserting religious justification for riches. He and Tammy Faye begin capitalizing on the American public's spiritual convictions. It's an extravaganza of tacky decor, excessive cosmetics and bad faith, though the lead actress succeeds to show the real-life figure as a sympathetic figure. Next Tuesday, early morning, on Film4

This week's second offering from the filmmaker delivers a spy mystery as tight like the turtlenecks worn by the actor's intelligence officer.
